Terra Garage Doors

The question from Internet:
I HAVE A CRAFTSMAN/SEARS 41A3516-2 GARAGE DOOR OPENER. WHILE TRYING TO "SYNC" MY NEW SKYLINK UNIVERSAL REMOTE (HAVE HAD 4 OVER QUITE A FEW YEARS) MY OPENER "SYNCED" TO THE KEY FOR MY 2008 AVENGER. I HAVE TRIED ERASING THE MEMORY FROM WHAT I COULD FIND ONLINE - NOTHING IS WORKING - DOES ANYONE HAVE A USER MANUAL OR ANY ADVISE??? RIGHT NOW EVERYBODY'S KEYS ARE OPENING THE DOOR AND ANY REMOTE CAN AS WELL!!

here are two answers anyway

1. Instruction says: the opener can learn and respond to up to 6 transmitter codes: (4 remotes, 1 390MHz Transmitter, and 1 Keypad)
Try to program the opener using a learn button to other six devices (as old sears remotes or home link from car, or keypads) to overflow the opener memory with new devices. Some manuals says max devices can be 4 remotes. As soon it will learn them. It will forget about universal remote. We hadn't tested this way in real.

2. The other way: to disconnect an internal radio (make it non-functional) and add a new external receiver as LiftMaster LM 635 (390MHz) or LM 365 (315MHz) as those work with Security+ system they might not work with old remotes if they do not have Security+

This way we had done several times but you have to make some actions on circuit board. The control board will stop getting signals from any radio sources as key fobs etc. (we have all instructions and keep them off for safety reasons)
